See what stands between your product and the world.
Describe your product, software or service in plain words. Roadblock finds every certification, registration and deadline for each country you sell in, in order, with time and cost.
Every one of them, ahead of time.
Safety, EMC and radio, energy, batteries, cybersecurity and registration. Each comes with the law or standard behind it, how long it takes and what it costs.
Plan the route, then drive it.
Roadblock orders the work from today: what starts now, what waits for design freeze, and what you can run in parallel.
Launch with nothing left in the way.
Know the budget, the timeline and the go/no-go before you spend on tooling.

Rules, not guesses
A reviewed register of 250+ requirements across 130 hardware, software and service types decides what applies. The AI only reads your description.Matching only reads your description.
Sources you can check
Every requirement links to the law, regulator page or standard behind it. Free sources are monitored for changes daily.

Analyze a product
Describe what you’re launching in plain words: hardware, software or a service. Roadblock works out what it is, then maps it to the certifications, registrations and dates between you and the market.
Roadblock covers hardware, software and services launched in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, the European Union, Singapore, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the other GCC states. Add more about what it is and does, check the Hardware / Software / Service switch, or pick the type under “Fix something we got wrong”. We’ve logged it so we can add new types. See Coverage.

Most compliance research goes into working out which rules apply. Roadblock splits that job in two, so the part that needs judgement is checked by the part that needs precision.
You describe it
Write what you’re launching the way you would to a colleague, and pick Hardware, Software or Service. No forms or category trees.
AI reads itRoadblock reads it
An AI model matches itRoadblock matches its wording to one or more of 130 types and records the features that decide scope. For hardware: power source, battery, radios, network connections and special hazards.
Rules decide
Each type carries its standards, licences and sector rules. A reviewed register of requirements maps the type and features to obligations, costs, durations and dates. The AI never invents a requirement.Nothing is invented: every requirement comes from the register.
Where the rules come from
Free laws, regulations and regulator guidance are monitored daily. When a page changes, the change is summarised and queued for a person to review before any rule is updated. Paid standards are referenced by number, edition and scope with a link to buy them; we never reproduce their text.
Where the costs come from
Each cost shows its basis. Estimates are replaced by lab rate cards, published fees and real reported outcomes as they come in. Once three real outcomes exist for a step, the range shown is their middle half.
How the timeline is built
The timeline starts today. Registrations and design work start on day one, lab testing starts once the design is frozen (allowing for the stage you describe), and declarations follow the tests they depend on. Earliest launch is when the last critical item finishes at its shortest likely duration. Faded bar ends show how much longer each item could run.

Not covered yet
Complete vehicles, food and drink, medicines and supplements, pet food, weapons, and markets outside the eight covered (Japan, South Korea, the UK and Canada are next). US state rules are covered where they commonly bite (California, New York City, state e-waste and packaging laws), not for every state. In the Gulf, the UAE and Saudi Arabia have their own rules; Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman share the GCC-wide rules (G-Mark, data protection) with national registration noted, and licences for services in those four are given at a general level.

Questions
What counts as an analysis? Each new product description you analyze. Fixing the interpretation and re-running a report doesn’t count.
What happens after my allowance? You can keep analyzing, but half of the critical roadblocks in new reports are hidden until next month or until you upgrade. Upgrading unlocks them straight away, including on reports you already ran.
How do payments work? Payments are handled by Stripe. You can change plans, update your card or cancel from your account.
